We are a small, hardworking and dedicated law firm whose efforts are focused on Maritime,
Fisheries and Marine & Natural Resources law. The small size of our firm allows us to be flexible
and able to quickly accommodate the individual needs of our clients - no matter how large or
small the issue. Our objective is to provide the highest quality legal service and to achieve the
goals of every client in a timely and cost effective manner.

Mike Mastry is the lead attorney on all issues and
cases brought to our firm. Mike brings a diverse
environmental background to the practice of law that
includes working as a Geotechnical Environmental
Field Technician, an Environmental Educator, a
Microbiologist, and a Marine Research Associate for
the State of Florida. Mike earned his JD in the
nations top environmental law program at Vermont
Law School and was subsequently admitted to
Florida Bar, United States District Courts and the 11th
Circuit Court of Appeals. Mike makes use of the pro
hoc vice provisions within state and federal court
rules to handle cases in many jurisdictions
throughout the United States.

Prior to opening his own law firm Mike was an associate with the law firm of Frank, Gramling &
Fingar in Tampa, and The Law Office of James F. Cummins & Associates where he was a key
member of a trial team that successfully handled numerous state and federal fisheries cases.
Among other important non-litigation issues that Mike has handled, he was retained by the
National Coral Reef Institute at Nova Southeastern University to assist the State of Florida in
developing Guidelines for Rapid Response to, and Restoration of, Coral Reef Injuries in
Southeast Florida.

In his spare time away from the office Mike enjoys fishing for tarpon with family and friends,
photography, kayaking, boat building, and spending time with his wife Andrea and their dog Aldo,
whose love and support make Mike's work in Fisheries & Marine Resources law and Maritime law
possible.
